surprised by Picasso. (:

Before I launch into the truly wonderful events of today, I'd like to discuss something rather disturbing that happened to me on the way home on Monday.
I was coming back from Croydon, as per usual, and just as I checked to see if my mum was in, Matt discovered a frog near my main door.
However, this wasn't just any frog.

It was.. a faceless frog.
Seriously. It had no face :|
You could see its' tongueeey-moutheey THING as it.. breathed (?) aaand it was the most confusing thing I'd ever seen. I couldn't understaaand it :| To make matters slightly more hilarious, as if that wasn't funny enough, its leg (?) spasmed now and again. It was a surprise that it wasn't dead to be honest with you.
BTW - the (?) things I keep doing is because I am not an expert on the anatomy of a frog, and I apologise for the incorrect description of such matters.
Nevertheless, that HAS to be the weirdest thing I've seen in a long time.

Now. TODAY.
Matt and I decided on MSN last night to do something today that didn't involve meeting in Croydon, going to Maccy D's, then going to Starbucks and/or Queens, and returning home. So. He decided to surprise me.
We met at around 2pm, and I had no idea were on earth we were going and what we were doing. After getting a train to London Victoria, I began to have even LESS idea as we changed tube lines about 50 times from the Picadilly line to the Jubillee line and back onto the Victoria line or something along those lines aand went past the obscurely named "Cockfosters", which, of course, as mature 16 year olds, we did not laugh at. :| *Hahahahaa..*

So anyway, we ended up at Leicester Square, and tramped around a bit whilst Matt asked for directions to wherever we were going in a tourist shop, which I had to stand outside of. (Y) Eventually, we got to..
The National Gallery.

Now for those of you who don't know, I have an immense passion for art. Monet, Picasso, Van Gogh, Da Vinci, Turner.. the lot. So by miles, this was the BEST possible place you could take me. Or one of, to say the least (:
I have to say though, I felt rather bad having to drag him around 66 rooms full of paintings from the 13th century to the 20th century. Although, after a while, he did begin to take interest (and also got a severe case of the hiccups, which I found both adorable and very amusing).

I was so excited when we got to the 18th Century Painting rooms, because there hung some of my favourite paintings of all time.

Was I happy or what :D

Anyway, after dwindling around in the gallery, we went for a Maccy D's and sat down in the gardens nearbyy.

BAD IDEA.
Opposite us was a late 40s/early 50s interracial couple. A white woman and fresh man were going for the full on softcore porn seshh. Eurghh. It was hardly something you could say "awwr" to. :\
So we left, and walked arounddd for a bit, and I found the most adorable little shoe shop on the way back to the train station - full of shoes I couldn't afford. :\ ohhh well (:

We got the train back, and went for a Starbuckssss nearby East Croydon which we enjoyed in Queens (:

AAAAAAAAAND then.. it poured with rain. And I got soakeeed through. But it was beaaautiful :)
Then we walked home, me soaking wet with squidgy shoesss and drenched hair that made me look like a drowned mouse.
But it was the best walk home I'd had in a whileee, with the smell of raaain and flowerss and a coldd breeze. (:

All in all, an undeniably amazingg day.
And I haven't had such a good time in a whilee.
Thank yoou Matt, I owe you one (: (L)

Tonighttt, I am going to listen to Norah Jones and watchh a good old romantic movie.
I can tell autumn is on its way - the wooly socks and jumpers have begun to come out, and I've begun sleeping with a blanket over my sheets.
I like this time of yeaaar. :) Things begin to get cosyy and mellow.

loveeely (:

Anyway, that's all for now. Maybe I'll be on later to add to this, as it's only 9pm.
But nevertheles, dinner beckons.
Well, it's really my mum.. But heyy whatever goes. :) xxx

say hello to my little friend ;)

I do love an early morning blog (:

So, the events of yesterdaay.
I pottered about the house as bored as a lemon, awaiting the arrival of my best friends Matt and Sonia (L.)

They were spending the night round mineee, and we were just having a little movie-night/jamm-sesh with lotsaaa scary movies and chinese takeout :) and it was LOVELY.
I remembered to put away the embrassing pictures, so that of course was a good start.
AND to my immense delight,
MY OTHER SISTER AMI, HAS RETURNED HOME FROM THE LAND OF THE TURKS!!! :D
she does, however, have a rather embarassing 'streak' of whitness down her newly tanned arms, which, according to a diagram shown to me on msn, I found absolutely hilarious. :)

Anyway, enough about that. LAST NIGHTTT.
After jamming outside [and being bitten by mosquitos, of which I was at a lucky escape..] convincing Sonia's mum to let her stay round mi casa, we ordered chinese and had a good old munchh. :)
We all then squished onto one sofa, Sonia constantly texting the boiff (hoi hoiii ;]), me chomping on popcorn and Matt stealing my fanta and put on "The Unborn."
I can now safely say, I am terrified of having twins, if having children at all, AND that night, me and Sonia refused to sleep in my room because of the large number of mirrors. There was also a fear of using the bathroom after watching "The Grudge", whom I apparently looked like when my hair fell in front of my face. (Thanks guys..)
So then, everyone being high on fearr and being convinced they heard a bang SOMEWHERE in my house, my mum decided to creep up on Matt and scared the shit out of him by jumping out at him. And boy, did he scream like a bitchh ;) HAHAHAHAA.. [i love you Matt :D]

To round off the night, we all decided on "Scarface."
No words needed tbhh; whatta film.

By this time, it was around 4/5am, so we set up camp on the floor of my living room, much to my protesting and blatently sensible suggestion to sleep in my room, in a bed.
Nevertheless, 20 pillows, 5 cushions, 6 bed-covers and a fluffly blanket (which Matt grew worryingly attatched to..) later, we three we sprawln out on the floor, attempting to sleep.

Oh how that failed.

Upon awaking at 11am to the smell of chinese from the night before, we all had a bruise SOMEWHERE on our bodies, and I felt somewhat content that my idea of sleeping on a bed, despite it being a single bed, then seemed like a more sensible idea (:

So today, I tidied up, finished the rest of the chinese, munched on popcorn and had a shower.
OOOH.
And I watched "If Only".
Oh MYYY did I cry my eyes out. It was not healthy. :\ ahahahaa
Such a lovely film. And Jennifer Love Hewitt is stunning, don't you think? :|

Now, being 2am, I am currently listening to Corrine Bailey Rae, and will probably watch another movie.

I've had a lot of deep thinking lately, and I've decided I need to stop letting things get to me, let things work out as they will and just be. I'm half way to 32 for goodness sake. I won't be able to do that in 16 yearss.
Wow. Half-way to 32.. I wonder if I'll still have this blog by then..

I've just had an ingenious idea :O Start a new blog for each year of my life!
BUT..
then I'd have 17 blogs by the time I was 32.
That's faaaaaar too many..

RIGHT yes anyway, TOMORROW:
I am going to buy a hat :) A pretty little thing that I saw in Accesorize. Mmm.. :)
THEN I'm meeting Sonia at 1pm, before she meets her boiff at 2, and then I'm meeting Matt at somepointt :)

A brief outlook to things aheaaaaad.. I'm probably going to Brighton on Tuesday.. which ofcourse means that I can cross off another one of the 'things-to-do-with-Matt' things on my 'things-to-do-with-Matt' list (Y.)
Goodness knows what else I'm doing this week.
Oh well. :)

I'm becoming increasingly concerned with my sleeping patterns. I go to sleep at 4am. So, I have decided, in order to go to sleep at an appropriate time, I need to move to a time zone where it would be 10/11pm or midnight there, but 4/5am in London... hmm..
Hello New York.
Mmm Chicago.
Or how's about San Francisco..

Well. That's that sorted. :)

So.
I'm off to watch a nice movieee and drink some green tea - the healthier substitute for coffee. :)

Goodnight, you funfilled world of opportunity. When I wake up, it shall yet again be Monday.
Another week. :)

lights, camera, relationships.

Long time no blog ;)So yesterday was some summer fusion thing in Ama-Gi in Kingston-Upon-Thamesss :) I went with two of my three besties (as my third bestie was still prancing around in Turkey ¬_¬) aaaand.. well, after traipsing around in heels in desperation to FIND the club, and looking SERIOUSLY overdressed for 5.30pm on a THURSDAY : we eventually arrived far too early as we were on the guest list, and continued to explore the likes of Kingston in search of an off-license that sold alcohol.. all in vain.

Nevertheless, we eventually found a small Sainsbury's and got a couple of bottles of vodkaaaa, which we drank as quickly as possible and then stuffed the remainderss in a bush as everyone was stopped and searched upon entry to the club.

Nice.

It was a good night tbhh, considering I hadn't been out in a rather long time, although it was effort to try to get Sonia to go there (despite her being the one to tell me about it :) let alone to dance.. but I eventually did it :D It did, however, get SO HOT and crowded upstairs that several trips between upstairs and downstairs had to be made. Of course this meant regularly seeing someone I didn't want to see, but lifee goes on. :)All-in-all, it was a rather good night, despite the immensely shit music,

[A little more this was seriously needed;]

and I have to feel rather proud of myself as I dragged Sonia to go against her
will as she was too lazy, and as a result she met a charming young fellow who is now her significant other half.
Lovelyyy stuff.
Whattaa good night. Although by 12.30, after 5 hours or so of dancing, there was nothing better that I wanted to do than drink a cup of coffee (which I have now conveniently swapped for green teeeeaaa :D) and read a good book. Ohh well :D
I ended the night with a nice bowl of curry noodles at Sonias, and a good old chattt before a nice longg lie in. :]

So, I have a new hair cut, my best friend now has a boyfriend, I can't remember people's names when I would like to most AND I'm a bit of a spackkk tbh (Y.) Nice onee.
Tomorrow should be good;; Matt and Soniaaa are coming round, which should be interestingg.. considering my mother is number 20 on an embarassing scale of 1-10. Whichh reminds me, I need to put away the baby pictures... :\

Things to look forward to.. umm.. I'm going away on the 11th August with Sonia, which is always good times. But Matt's leaving me on the first, which is NOT good times. Oh ohhh AND we're edging ever closer to the 27th August - Doomsday (GCSE Results Day). I'm thinking a good bottle of vodka is needed on that day, as Matt said, 'to either celebrate, which is highly unlikely, or to get totally wankered and drown in my failure' which I personally think is a damn good philosophyy ;) Then of course, it's back to school. And that's always great fun. :/

Hmm. Well that's all for noww, I may come on and edit this later as its only midnight and I have another four hours or so to kill before I can get to sleep :)
And F.Y.I, everything below this line is a general rant; but did, nevertheless, inspire the title of this blog. Read on if you wish.
If not, may the force be with you.

- Isn't it irritating, how there's someone that you put all your energy into forgetting about, do all you can just to shut them out your life because you know you need to let whatever happened go, because it's part of the past and it needs to be left there and so on, and you know you really can do better; but there's always something, that constant reminder when you lie in bed at night, or that feeling you can't shake, and no matter where you go you will always see them no matter how hard you try to avoid them, and all those efforts just fall apart and mean nothing, just like that. And sometimes you feel like a fool to think of the 'should haves' and the 'could haves', realizing you actually don't want to forget, because you want to hold on to everything that was because you're too scared to lose it in case it never comes around again.

I hate people that do that to you.

the events of condom cornerr ;)

Well.
It's 1:43am, and I have nothing better to do, so I decided to come here, to my blog :)

If we're gonna think about this technically, it's early Monday morning, and I am currently BURSTING with energy like an orange fresh from an orange tree in Spain, or a newly born star. At 1:43am. :|

Anyways, I think I should fill you in on the previous weeks events, considering now is currently the beginning of a new one.

With regards to my previous blog, I went to see Hazza Pee, and I can't help but tell you, it was rather disappointingg in comparison to previous Hazzaa Peee moviess :\ but greaaat, nonetheless. :D (thankk you OrangeWednesdays :])

Secondly, I spent every day of the week passed with my bestieee, and what fun we had (Y.) It is rather disconcerting, however, that we have consistently been raped by an African man who calls himself 'Abi'. He seems to appear out of nowhere, and talks to me and Matt (the bestiee) as if we're long lost amigos :| And it's all very well and good, but pulling yourself up at a chair at our table whilst we're trying to discuss who's fit and why/why not is not on. He apparently has found a new 'lady friend' who has a boyfriend, so he doubts she'll call him back. Not too surprising really. Anyway, so there we were: I was choking on a Starbucks Strawbbs/Cream Frapp whilst Matt ever so kindly conversed with the poor fellow, and he decided to save us from the situation by "going to the toilet". We then decided to leave Abi sitting there, alone at condom corner (which the origins of the name shall remain unknown), waiting for us to return, only to get a lift down to the ground floor leaving him two floors above. We have now been banished from condom corner.
NICE ONE :D (Y)

I also met up with my long lost sister, Sonia, who I hadn't seen since induction day, to go shopping :D It was great funnn, laughing at random people in the street and pretending we didn't know each other when someone did something retarded, just like old times. It was, however, a bit of a pain in the ass looking for t-shirts, as she couldn't think of a shop that sold the t-shirts she wanted, so we ended up going in EVERY SHOP. :|

She eventually found one >>>

There was also a random woman who asked us where some 'Bijou Brigitte' accessory shop was; we of course, didn't have the slightest clue what she was talking about, and stared back at her blankly :|
Then a pigeon flew into a man, and that was a rather funny sight :)

Not much happened today; I caught up on some reading and listened to some good old classic rock when people really knew how to play guitarss..
But earlier, I helped my mum clean out the fish tank.. However, one of my fish is now dying. :\
At least he'll die in a clean tank..

SO.
The week ahead.

Tomorrow consists of gymming with Soniaa.. which I'm actually quite excited about :D
Tuesday, I'm getting a muchh needed haircutt :D and going shopping with my mumm

Wednesday, I'm yet again, meeting some BOY who pretends to know me..
Thursday
, PARTYYY TIMEEE :D with, ofcc, Sonia, Matt, and the neww haircut ;)
Friday
, recovery, gym perhaps?
Saturday
, that random BOY ¬_¬ is coming round my house for a nicee movie night; which means I can tick off something else on our to-do list that I stated in a previous blog :)
And
Sunday, well.. That's another day.

BUT BEST OF ALL.
My other sister, Ami, comes homee soon. :) About time too.
Stupid whore.. Oh how i love you :)

It's now 02:12am, and I am still not tired. Nevertheless, that's all I have to say.
Until next time.

spiderman on the 468,Orange Wednesdays and weird Facebook quizzes.

468, to, Elephant and Castle :D
Today spontaneously consisted of a bus-ride on a 468 to, you guessed it, Elephant & Castle.

It was eventful, I have to admit, with an hour and half bus journey consisting of slightly explicit conversations about Spiderman (not the comic book character) and imaginative street names, including the all to fascinating, "East Street".Good ol' Oyster Card, making such adventures free. :)

Me and my fellow companion got off at the last stop and walked along un-ventured streets to stumble across an old looking book shop :) with mirrors, which of course led to my re-doing of make-up and his re-gelling of hair.. and so we ventured onwards, towards another bus stop to return back the way we came, and ended up, rather ironically, getting back on the bus we just got off. How cool we must have looked :)

Upon returning to Croydon, we walked around aimlessly, made a pit-stop at Maccy D's (mmm.. food..) and stood outside the NHS walk-in center contemplating whether or not to go in and ask for free condoms. Good times.

This evening, I have booked a 2-4-1 cinema ticket with thanks to Orange Wednesdays, for the HAZZAA PEEE (harry potter) film that comes out.. TOMORROW!!!!!!! verryyyy good times. :D

So, tomorrow, I shall be up bright and early, meeting my fellow b.f.c at the cinema and rushing in, with my glasses a'wearin, ready to watch the one, the only:
Harry Potter & the Half Blood Prince.

I have just completed a facebook quiz with my b.f.c, and it's rather queer that we both got the result as the first letter of each others namesss:

The question being; 'What will your next boyfriends/girlfriends name start with?'
ohhh the chances.

23:03pm;
So I just got in from dinner at some Mexican restaurant, and decided to finish the saved draft of this blog with a little insight into just what happened.
At the table next to me and my mother, there was a young couple who ordered a bottle of rose and spent the whole evening snogging each others faces off each other :|
how delightful :)
Secondly, the waiter who served us was a vertically challenged man who conversed with us every time he passed the table, discussing everything from tacos to the electronics of chip and pin. Just as we were paying, he decided to enlighten me in this clearly interesting field, only to be thrown off guard by my mother crumpling into fits of laughter as he continued to discuss how the electronics of credit card systems were different in the UK than in Mexico. :| How enthralled I was :)

Other than that, it was a rather good evening.. until my mother decided to spend the rest of the evening teasing me, calling him my boyfriend..

Until tomorrow amigos,
may you have many more adventures. :)

hench spiders & "to-do-lists"

THERE IS A HENCHH SPIDER ON THE WALL OF MY LIVING ROOM.
Now, everyone knows I HATE spiders & probably have a medical case of arachnaphobia so will tend to exaggerate the size of spiders.. but THIS SPIDER.. is HENCH. ..maybe it drinks protein shakes, is a regular at the spider gym, or whatever but, IT IS HENCH.
<< :/
I didn't appreciate it when I frantically requested help on msn, and was told it was going to crawl into my mouth when I slept..
- GYM says:
cos your mouth is the prefered living conditions lol
Thanks Jerry.. :\

It was rather amusing, however, when one of my friends (RIKUL :D) rather ironically had a fat spider crawl across his floor as I told him of my crisis. :D

Huge fast-moving arachnids aside, I just had theee bestt (tele)phone conversation with my bestiee :) (L) whos voice doesn't deepen - it 'darkens'.. LOL. We devised a summer "to-do-list" which I wrote on my mirror in whiteboard marker, and it goes a little something like this -
  1. See Harry Potterrrrr ;)
  2. Go to each others houses and see one anothers rooms
  3. Have a mellow Jack Johnson day.. mmm..
  4. Go to Brighton :D
  5. Movie Night.
Of course, this has to be done before he leaves in August for a rather long holiday :\
Ohh well, plenty of timee I guess :)

It was a rather fun phone conversation, because his rents decided that at 11.40pm it was time to go to sleep in order to get a good nights kip before a final day of work experience tomorrow. After supposedly "hanging up" and turning his phone off, the reason he continued to be conversing was not because he was on the phone but because he talks to himself (Y.)
Such weird and wonderful people I know. :)

Goodnight world; Tomorrow's another day. :)

I want my mowbli back.. :\

Well well well.
Hasn't this been an eventful past few days. :\

To begin with, I went back to school yesterday, all suited up for a 6th form induction day.
Pointless, I hear you cry, and I cannot help but agree.

In the morning we sat around and listened to the all-too-interesting Head of our school discuss how we should 'do our best' and how a woman who cannot push her glasses up beyond the tip of her nose with the most annoying accent who wears heels as high as the Empire State Building is now, joyously, our head of year. For the remainder of the day we strolled around all-too-familiar classrooms and listened to teachers tell us about their subjects at 6th form and were given summer 'homework' in preparation for September.
Like they don't give us enough throughout the year.

But that's not the half of it :|

I LEFT MY PHONE..
ON THE BUS.

and continuous ringing of Metrobus AND my phone itself in hope that someone will answer has all been in vain.

Trying to be optimistic, I have ordered a new free Orange "Dolphin" Pay-as-you-go sim,
which is rather exciting :)

..But I want my old phone back, regardless of the broken keypad, the back cover which doesn't stay on, it's inability to charge and the scratches on the screen. It is MY phone with a hell of a
lot of stuff on there that I don't want to lose. :\

Secondly, the weather yesterday was, because of my shit mood, SHIT. Normally I have great appreciation for the rain - I find it rather refreshing - but yesterday, it just made my white shirt go see-through (which some people I'd rather have NOT like, liked.. cough Aron..), made rather inconvenient puddles for cars to drive into and splash me with and made me lose my keys in a puddle as well as nearly slipping over as I walked home in heels.
Joy.

I came home and went on my laptop in an attempt to go on msn.. an attempt which failed.
According to virgin media, I was not connected to the Internet so I couldn't sign in.. but I WAS because I was on facebook. Which meant I had to resort.. to ebuddy.

WHAT HAS THE WORLD COME TO!?

So today, I am ringing Metrobus on the reggs and lazying around in pj's and an oversized dreggie watching sex&thecity, drinking coffee and being on a general low.

thank god for starbucks n all.

But feeling rather good cos I have a lovely bunch of friends that cheer me up without even knowing something's wrongg.. you guys are stars. :)

iloveyou guysss :)

...pity I can't text you and tell you. :\

i leave you with this. :)

Sunday, Bloody Sunday.

-I like Sundays :)
BIG FAT YAAAAAY FOR SUNDAAAAYYSSSS :D

Sunday is one of those days where you can just laze aroundd in your PJ's or sit outsidee in the sunshine with a cup of coffee munching on waffles and no-one seems to care :) I don't see why people don't like Sundays.. Maybe because Sunday marks the end of the weekend, and the beginning of yet another 5-day-work-week. But isn't that a good thing? A new week, a whole new 7 days filled with countless opportunities (assuming you know where to look.) ANYTHING can happen. It's that element of uncertainty and possibility that awaits you which makes Sunday a bloody good day.

I woke up bright and early today, just in time to see the sun riseee :D. [I also went to bed in not far off the sunrise..] I have to admit it's been a rather unproductive day, and I as I look at the clock which reads 15:53pm I wonder what exactly it is I'm going to do after this blogg. Who knows.. Finish reading my book, perhaps..?

I spent the morning dilly-dallying and did a spot of ironing (earning a fiver - nice one (Y)) and that's alwayss helpful, considering I don't have a job despite my intense need for moniees. ¬_¬ I then had a shower, and laughed immensly as I discovered, after my day of intense tanning yesterday in Queens with my sisterssss [(L.)] and a few other people, I acheived my goal of "getting a tan" and now have insanely white toes, yes, TOES, in comparison the the brown-ness of my legs. Oh deaaar. :\

Isn't Jack Johnson wonderful? Such mellow mu
sic is just perfect for a Sunday in the gardenn, me thinks. I would casually strum along on my guitar, but the other day I broke the much needed E-string, and now have a 5-stringed guitar, and I don't have a replacement..

SO.
I am currently a jobless, white-toed, mellow 16 year old girl with a 5-stringed guitar in need of a hair cut (but my mother continues to forget this so won't book me an appointment..) with the bestest friends anyone could ask for. Luckyy much. :)

Life is beautiful. :)
